Pilot Speech Translator is a free iPhone application developed by Waverly Labs Inc. It falls under the category of Business & Productivity. This app offers a convenient and efficient way to translate speech in various languages.
With the recent integration of Pilot Earpieces, the app now offers two modes of translation. In Listen Mode, users can use the Pilot Earpiece to interpret speech back to them in their desired language. This is particularly useful for understanding conversations or speeches in foreign languages. In Conversational Mode, users can connect the Pilot Earpiece and enjoy face-to-face translation in 15 languages. This mode supports both 1 on 1 and group conversations, with the ability to share an earpiece with a partner or use both for oneself.
Pilot Speech Translator also includes a phrase translation feature, allowing users to speak or type any phrase and receive a response in the specified language. Additionally, the app offers a phrasebook functionality, enabling users to bookmark frequently used phrases for future reference.
Currently, Pilot Speech Translator supports 15 languages and 50 dialects, including Arabic, Chinese (Mandarin), English, French, German, Greek, Hindi, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Polish, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish, and Turkish. The developers are continuously working on adding new languages to enhance the translation capabilities of the app.
